Could PRP be right for me?
Suitability depends on the cause and pattern of hair loss, your scalp and your health history. PRP is not appropriate for everyone or every stage of thinning.
All genders are welcome. Your practitioner will discuss your medicines, relevant conditions, alternatives and whether another assessment is more appropriate.
What happens at the appointment?
- Consult and assess. Discuss your concerns, suitability, costs and expectations.
- Prepare and treat. Blood collection, plasma preparation and targeted scalp injections.
- Aftercare and review. Receive care guidance and agree how progress will be reviewed.
How many sessions—and when might I see changes?
A course may be recommended following assessment. The number, spacing and total cost should be agreed before you commit.
Changes develop gradually over months. Responses vary, and regrowth is not guaranteed. Consistent photographs can help review your own progress.

What about comfort and aftercare?
PRP involves blood collection and scalp injections, so discomfort is possible. Ask about comfort measures and possible tenderness, redness, bruising or bleeding.
